JobReferences.com is operated by Allison & Taylor, Inc. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information you give us
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Your resume, if you choose to attach it, so our consultants can ask the right questions.
- Order details: the service you choose and the options you select.
- Information about your references: the names, titles, companies and contact details of the people you ask us to call, and details about your employment with them.
- Messages: anything you send through our contact, inquiry or reference forms.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe shares your name, email, phone, billing address and order details with us so we can fulfill your order. We never receive or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site securely. We may use Google advertising and analytics tools and Hotjar to measure visits and orders; these may set cookies. Form fields that contain personal information are hidden from Hotjar recordings.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, these advertising and analytics tools are not loaded.
How we use information
- To perform the reference check or Cease & Desist service you order.
- To contact you about your order and respond to your questions.
- To prevent fraud and spam.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
Your references’ information
We use the details you give us about your references only to contact them and complete your check. We don’t sell it or use it for marketing.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, such as Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection), our email delivery provider, and Google and Hotjar (measurement); with the attorney handling a Cease & Desist letter you order; or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. For Cease & Desist orders, your references are kept on file for 12 months after the letter is sent, as described in that service.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal requirements, by contacting us or emailing references@allisontaylor.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payments are handled by Stripe, and form submissions are delivered directly to our team.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy as our services change. The current version is always on this page.
